The Suites were built using old construction techniques to allow our guests to savour times past. Times that are not made exclusively of drums and the wild nature of our collective imagination, but also from times when the exchange of goods from Africa’s interior, like gold, ivory and spices, fostered the coast’s expansion, producing a lingua franca, a distinctive culture and a characteristic architectonic style: Swahili.
Lonno Lodge is a mixture of styles and different shapes, almost as if the different populations also came in waves during the building process, rebuilding it, reorganising it and changing it around. And leaving their various imprints behind. This design method also required the recovery of materials and techniques which, without the assistance of energy and chemistry, have made the buildings very hospitable.
The 4 Suites share the same charme and atmophere, and differ in size. From the 90sqm 3 beds Junior Suite to the 2-bedrooms 133sqm Suite you can easily find the best solution for you and your family. All the Suites are on 2 floors and are completed by a shaded patio or a terrace, and the GrandSuite, not directly exposed to the sea breeze, has both of them in a position overlooking the pool and the beach. Silence and privacy are a must in our Suites, since all of them have independent access.
Please note that all the suites are strictly no-smoking rooms.
